かいて【買い手】

a buyer; a purchaser; a customer; 〔売りの申し出に対する〕 a taker; 【法】 〔主に不動産の〕 a vendee.

●それを売りたいと思うが, 買い手があるだろうか. I'd like to sell it, but I wonder if I'll get any buyers [whether anyone would buy it].

・そんなものを市場に出しても買い手がないだろう. There won't be any demand for them [They won't get any takers] even if they go on sale. | Even if you put it up for sale nobody would buy it.

・買い手がないので彼はその家を賃貸しした. He couldn't find a buyer for the house, so he let it.
